Ceramics Intensive: Figure Sculpture

Please Note: Students must have experience working with clay and know basic handbuilding techniques. Drawing experience helpful. Dive into the art of creating expressive ceramic portraits and figurative sculptures in this 3-week intensive. With a live, costumed model as reference, you'll learn essential techniques for capturing human anatomy, gesture, and costume details. The course covers building armatures, advanced clay modeling for facial features and textures, and applying surface treatments and glazes. Through demonstrations and personalized instruction, you'll refine your skills and bring your creative vision to life. All materials and tools are provided, making this course ideal for artists eager to expand their sculpting abilities. Model fee is included in the price of the class.
