There is no advanced member registration for summer camps.
Ceramics
This half-day camp meets Monday through Thursday for 3-weeks and is for campers interested in exploring a variety of ceramic techniques, including hand building, throwing on the wheel, surface texture, and glazing. Each camp ends with an art show for campers to share their work with family and friends on the last Thursday of the session. Previous experience is not required, but projects require the ability to focus and follow multi-step procedures. Attendance is mandatory each day and important to the completion of artwork. Materials are included in the price of the camp.
Jewelry & Metal Arts
This half-day camp meets Monday through Thursday for 3-weeks and is for campers interested in exploring techniques in jewelry and metal arts. Both beginning and intermediate level students are welcome. Beginning students will be introduced to the basic skills of professional jewelry making and metalsmithing, and returning students will dive deeper into techniques to create unique pieces such as pendants, earrings and rings as well as 3-D objects made of copper and brass. Each camp ends with an art show for campers to share their work with family and friends on the last Thursday of the session. Previous experience is not required, but projects require the ability to focus and follow multi-step procedures. Attendance is mandatory each day and important to the completion of artwork. Materials are included in the price of the camp.

Fine Arts
This half-day camp meets Monday through Thursday for 3-weeks and is for campers interested in fine art! This camp gives young artists the opportunity to experiment with different media and make friends among other art fans of their age. Campers will explore a variety of techniques in drawing, painting, and mixed media (such as collage, assemblage, and printmaking). They will also explore outdoor drawing and plein air painting techniques nearby in beautiful Golden Gate Park. Each camp ends with an art show for campers to share their work with family and friends on the last Thursday of the session. Previous experience is not required, but projects require the ability to focus and follow multi-step procedures. Attendance is mandatory each day and important to the completion of artwork. Materials are included in the price of the camp. This is a combined age group (11-17).
