Jewelry & Metal Arts Intensive: Casting

In this 5 day afternoon casting intensive, you will learn the organic metal art of lost wax casting and make silver or bronze cast rings or pendants. The class starts by showing you how to work with wax (hot and cold) to create pieces of jewelry that will be cast. The instructor will email students before class with a link to purchase sterling silver. You will be given one 2 1/2 inch flask to fit your wax designs in. After the wax castings are made, your instructor will be working the metal magic and showing you how to polish your finished project. Beginners are welcome.
