Tsungwei Moo

Fine Arts

Tsungwei Moo lives and works in San Francisco, California. She began her education in Taiwan studying Mass Communication. After emigrating to San Francisco, she continued her education focusing on fine art.

Her work is diverse in both media and content; focused on mixed media painting, printmaking, and ceramic sculpture, with themes that focus on social justice, nature, conservation, and public engagement.

Her work has been exhibited at many public locations and museums including, the de Young Museum, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Yosemite Museum, SF Muni buses, San Francisco Public Library, and countless galleries. Her works are also in the permanent collection at the San Francisco International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, and Taiwan Art Bank.

In 2019, Moo won the United Airlines “Her Art Here” national contest. Her art is now displayed on a Boeing 757 and can be seen internationally. In 2021, she was the selected cross residency artist sponsored by the French American Cultural Society and Villa SF.
