Special Ceramics Classes

Grab your friends, and come play!

Em Spakoski is teaching a Sculpture Intensive that meets for not once but TWICE a week (yep! double the fun) AND meets for 4 hours at each meeting to maximize creative playtime. The workshop starts soon on 11/26, so sign up today! *No class on 11/28

During this 3-week course, students will focus on creating sculptures that reflect an aspect of their perceived "alter-ego." Perhaps this persona is derived from an imaginary friend or a favorite storybook character; perhaps they showcase an intimate inner narrative. Alter egos exist in multitudes of shapes and forms, and this class will provide a lens with which to understand the many versions of self that we interact with while we create—bringing us closer to ourselves in the process. This class will meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-2pm. Students will hone a variety of sculptural skills that include coil building, slab work, and pinch pot forms, ultimately culminating in a final sculpture project that illustrates an alternate sense of self. Basic hand building skills required. Tools and clay provided.

Really enjoyed reading about the Special Ceramics Classes — you presented the details in such a clear and inviting way that it makes me want to sign up and start shaping clay myself! I love how you highlighted both the creative techniques and the supportive learning environment the studio offers. I recently came across a similar discussion on a review blog https://www.attn2detail.info/ that shared another interesting perspective on how hands‑on art classes can spark creativity and build confidence. Thanks for sharing these thoughtful class insights!

After reading this, it’s clear how overwhelming accidents can be in Los Angeles traffic. Finding the right legal guidance quickly really matters. I’ve seen how using Accident Attorney Advertising Near Me helps people connect with experienced professionals faster during stressful situations.

I appreciate the emphasis on holistic family-centered planning. Access to structured eldercare services provides peace of mind for relatives who want their loved ones to receive consistent, respectful, and professional assistance without relocating from their homes.

Great points shared here. Digital growth isn’t instant, and that’s something many people forget. Agencies like jacq360 seem to understand long-term value rather than quick wins, which usually leads to better and more stable results.

Great insights on branding. Professionally designed custom neon signage helps businesses communicate their message clearly while enhancing visual appeal. Strong lighting elements can significantly improve customer attraction and brand recognition.
