Jewelry Workshop: Intro to Jewelry Design & Hand Sawing

Transform your graphic drawings into stunning metal jewelry and art pieces using fundamental metalsmithing techniques. This accessible course focuses on hand sawing and piercing sheet metal to create dynamic components with minimal tools. Students will explore the interplay of positive and negative space while mastering essential hand sawing skills that form the foundation of metalsmithing. Students can choose one or more depending on their ambition level such as earrings, pendants, decorative window hangings, or brooches. This course emphasizes creativity and personal expression through metal--perfect for beginners and those looking to strengthen their fundamental hand sawing skills. All tools and materials provided.
