Jewelry Workshop: Cast-in-Place Stones

In this class students will be taught the technique of casting stones in place. Students will learn the fundamentals of wax carving and setting up a cast-in-place piece. We will go over which types of stones work best for the cast-in- place method and how to finish the work after casting. The instructor will be doing the castings for the students. Beginners are welcome. Tools and materials provided. The Jewelry Studio is located on the upper floor, with stair access only.
