Ceramic Workshop for Kids

with Eleanor Coffelt

The history of life on earth written in stone

In this two session workshop for kids ages 6-11, students will hold and study real fossils. We will learn about how different fossils were formed and what they tell us about the History of Life on Earth. With clay, we will make imprint fossils of ammonites and trilobites. Working like paleontologists we will analyze pictures of dinosaur bones and use evidence to reconstruct a clay dinosaur. In the second session we will glaze our creations. All work will be ready for pick up the following week.

Saturday, May 15 & 22 (Two Days)
