choosing yarns (natural vs. synthetic), crochet stitches, switching yarn colors, crocheting in rounds (for hats) vs. rows (for scarves), and reading patterns. We will also cover topics such as uses for crochet (i.e. functional, decorative, artistic, graffiti). By the end of class, you will decide on the direction of your project based
on examples of artists and crafters who use crochet as their medium and begin your project. The second part of the workshop you will work in class, with one-on-one help to complete your project.
