“You”, Leonardo and The Third Dimension
in Watercolor

instructor: Vesta Kirby
level: beginning and continuing watercolorists

Enhance your watercolors by applying principles of perspective that have captivated artists since the Renaissance. Learn simple ways to see and draw the third dimension in linear perspective giving your paintings greater depth and drama. We begin with easy in class set ups and progress to outdoor landscapes to include buildings and fine architectural detail.

We will review Leonardo’s great use of light and dark contrast with color to create extraordinary watercolors in perspective. Many small watercolor sketches in the beginning will build a most sound foundation. You will love the results of mastering “perspective” in your watercolors. Materials list given upon registration.

Beginners are most certainly welcome for this adventure.
