ART-IN-THE-PARK 2009
Art-in-the-Park is a summer art enrichment program offered at the Sharon Art Studio. A.I.P. offers students instruction in a wide variety of artistic disciplines such as wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics, stained and fused glass, jewelry, drawing, watercolor, pastel, and bookmaking. The program provides a non-competitive, supportive environment that nurtures creative expression. Each session accommodates 30 campers. Campers are divided by age into groups of 10 students that rotate throughout the studio for 60 minute periods of instruction. Students receive substantial individual attention as they work on challenging and ongoing art projects.

Museum Daze
Join us for fine art exploration, discussion, and creation by visiting local museums and galleries! This class will alternate days at the Sharon Art Studio and off-site visits to places like the DeYoung, SFMOMA, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, as well as smaller local galleries and art centers (specific destinations vary per session). The class will travel as a group either by foot or by the new MUNI Culture Bus. Students will explore current and permanent exhibitions, and have discussions and art projects on the subjects on the days back at the studio. A cool endeavor into the contemporary arts scene and the perfect afternoon addition to Art-in-the-Park. Join the fun!
