Learn to "see" in a new way. Observation and a variety of methods to create paintings and drawings using line, form, structure, pattern, texture, scale and color from nature will be the focus of this class. Developing a way of seeing the abstract as it exists in nature, by looking beyond the surface of things, will enhance your art process and self-expression. No painting experience is necessary, bring your inspired self for an adventure in paint. Realistic painting will take on new life with the noticing/seeing exercises, and is certainly included in this class.
