NEW CLASS!!
STOP ANIMATION & FILM PRODUCTION
instructor: Liam McInerny
ages: 10-15


Students will learn the basics of film production and stop animation through two projects, one
short flip book drawing animation and one short clay animation. Filming will be done with a
provided Super 8 camera and students will work both individually and in teams to produce films.
Upon completion there will be a film screening and students will leave with a DVD of all class projects.

DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
instructor: Ariel Soto
ages: 10-13



Students will learn about the fundamentals of photography using their own digital cameras.
We will look at composition, color, shadows; and practice taking specific types of images like portraits,
landscapes and architectural photographs. Students will complete a handmade final portfolio by the end
of the class that will be a compilation of their favorite and most successful photographs taken during the
class session. Photo field trips will be scheduled also during class time. Students must print their own photos between classes, off-site

DEVELOP YOUR DRAWING &
PAINTING SKILLS

ages: 11-15



Improve your art skills by exploring various art media such as pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolor and acrylic paints. Drawing techniques for shading, perspective, contour drawing and portraits will be taught. Intro to paint techniques will supplement drawing skills.Beginner, intermediate, and advanced students welcome.

CARTOONING WORKSHOP
instructor: Cara Goldstein
ages: 5-10


Explore how to create dynamic cartoon characters, backgrounds, and storylines. Students will learn
how to draw characters that have expression, movement and backgrounds that are colorful.
Our materials will include pencils, markers and a sketchbook. The culmination of this workshop will
be several cartoon scenes and the start of a comic book.
