kids ceramic wheel SUNDAY FAMILY CLAY DAY
instructor: Elizabeth Liu
ages: 5-10

Kids and parents—come play with clay and create beautiful works of art the whole family will enjoy! Learn a variety of handbuilding techniques and glaze your pieces with bright non-toxic glazes. note Children under 8 must be accompanied by a participating (registered and paying) adult. Participants
may sign up for only one of the two sessions being offered.

CERAMICS: Handbuilding
instructor: Dolores Gray (Monday) and Dottie Low (Wednesday)

This children’s class explores a variety of hand building methods. Projects include masks, planters, and more.

CERAMICS: Wheel & Sculpture
instructor: Dottie Low

ages: 12-15

Learn basic and advanced throwing techniques on the potter’s wheel and explore hand building and sculptural techniques. Experiment with glazes to create impressive finished projects. For beginning and
advanced students. Proof of age required by 12 year olds.

TEEN CERAMICS
instructor: Elizabeth Liu

This class is open to students enrolled in area high schools. Learn basic throwing techniques
on the potter’s wheel and a variety of hand building methods. Explore decorating and glazing techniques and participate in the ancient Japanese Raku firing technique. Beginners welcome. Students must
attend 1st class.
