DRAWING STUDIO:
ENHANCING CREATIVITY BY
DRAWING WHAT YOU SEE
instructor: Carlo Grunfeld
Level: Beginning & Continuing Artists

This course will be appropriate for beginners while also providing enough rigor to benefit those who have recently taken basic drawing. During each class we’ll warm-up with exercises that awaken the right side of the brain. Through these and the construction of drawings, we should see more clearly things as we optically perceive them. We’ll use pencil, charcoal, and ink to look closely at and draw from, among other things, still-life, life, and landscape outside the Sharon Building. We’ll also study some drawing techniques that aid in construction, such as the elliptical system. A nominal fee will be collected from each student to hire a model for the last session.

INTRODUCTION TO BEADING
instructor: Delia Munoz
Level: Beginning & Continuing Artists

Learn simple techniques for stringing, wiring and knotting, as well as easy to master techniques for more complex projects. Class will cover: Intro to Beading Basics, Jewelry Strung from Beads and Wired Bead Jewelry.

INTRO TO PMC WORKSHOP
instructor: Olivia Competente
Level: Beginniners Welcome!

Love metal working and want to try a new medium? This class will cover all the basics in PMC (precious metal clay). PMC is a medium that can be molded and manipulated like traditional clay, but when fired becomes a lovely piece of fine silver jewelry. This class will take you from flat forms, to setting a gemstone, to finishing your piece. You will go home with wonderful one of a kind jewelry. No previous
instruction needed great for beginners as well advanced students needed guidance.
