Kids and parents—come play with clay and create beautiful works of art the whole family will enjoy! Learn a variety of handbuilding techniques and glaze your pieces with bright non-toxic glazes. note Children under 8 must be accompanied by a participating (registered and paying) adult. Participants may sign up for only one of the two sessions being offered.

This children’s class explores a variety of handbuilding methods. This term, in celebration of the King Tut exhibit, we will be focusing on Egyptian themed art!

Learn basic and advanced throwing techniques on the potter’s wheel and explore handbuilding and sculptural techniques. Experiment with glazes to create impressive finished projects. For beginning and advanced students. Proof of age required by 12 year olds.
