Improve your art skills by exploring various art media such as pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolor and acrylic paints. Drawing techniques for shading, perspective, contour drawing and portraits will be taught. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced students welcome.

Fashion Workshop for Teens
instructor: Barbara Carbone
Ages 11-16
In this four week class, you will explore the concept of fashion in the media, and will learn how to better define their own beauty. Get your creative juices flowing with exploration of a wide range of materials and exiting fabrics. Learn real techniques of the fashion industry like creating material boards and patterns. In this mini-workshop, investigate the element of lines, patterns, and shapes in fashion. You will create clothes, ranging from shorts, gowns to tops, using cellophane, wire, and paint. Our class will conclude with a ‘fashionable’ exhibtion that highlights your collection, so U Style It. |
